Our Welcome-Program

Wednesday, 05.03.2025: Guided city tour through Heilbronn
From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. you have the opportunity to get to know the city of Heilbronn before you start your studies. The meeting point and the end afterwards is on the Bildungscampus. The tour is offered in English and German - registration is possible from 17.02.2025.

Wednesday, 05.03.2025: Games evening at the Bildungscampus
Get to know your future fellow students and fellow students from other faculties and degree programs at a games evening from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. You are welcome to bring your own games, but we will also provide a wide selection. There will also be pizza, soft drinks and beer for everyone.

Thursday, 06.03.2025: Cinema evening at the TechCampus
At 6:30 p.m. we will show a movie in the auditorium, which the freshmen can choose exclusively themselves. A vote will take place two weeks beforehand on our official Instagram account in the story. You can then enjoy the evening with free popcorn and drinks. The movie will be in German but it will have English subtitles.

Introduction to eLearning| ILIAS

Our eLearning platform ILIAS offers comprehensive options for students and teachers of HHN to manage all courses and materials. Scheduling programmes, managing lecture materials, starting discussions and many other functions make the day-to-day university life easier. For first semester students we offer exclusive dates for the introduction to ILIAS.

Library LIV | Virtual Library Tour

LIV offers several library introductory tours at the start of the semester.

In these events, which take place virtually on Webex, you will learn the most important things about the library LIV, the current options for borrowing and use, return deadlines, how to search the online catalogue, and you will also get a few visual impressions of the library.

You do not need to register to participate, all you need is a browser and an audio connection. Simply follow the respective "Participation" link at the specified time. You can expect this to be about 30-45 minutes long.

Please mute your microphones during the presentation; of course, you will be given the opportunity to ask questions during the event.

  • Campus Mobility Management

    LOGWERT is currently developing a mobility strategy for Heilbronn University under the title "Smart Campus Mobility" with a focus on the Bildungscampus. The project, which is funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg, is intended to combine the knowledge gained to date on campus mobility and embed it in a far-reaching concept. In addition to providing support for implementation, the project also aims to create a framework for conducting mobility-related research projects at the Bildungscampus.
