No Bike? No Problem!

A total of 50 bicycles are now available at the Sontheim Campus, the Bildungscampus East, Student Residence W27  and at the car park of the Heilbronn Experimenta. Ride from campus to campus free of stress and charge.

The installation of the bikes marks the start of the new bicycle rental system "CampusRad Heilbronn". HHN students benefit from this, regardless of whether they study at the Sontheim Campus or the Bildungscampus: Bicycles can be rented and returned flexibly at all 4 rental stations. This means that you can rent a bike from the Sontheim Campus, ride into the city centre and return the bike at the Bildungscampus - without any problems!

Register for free - Rent it for free

The best thing about "CampusRad" is that you can leap yourself into the saddle free of charge for 120 minutes. Only from minute 121, usage costs 1 euro per half hour. 24 hours from minute 121 costs 12 euros. All it takes is a one-time registration at  www.callabike.de/anmeldung/CampusRadHeilbronn, which is also free of charge. Or via the "Call a Bike App", which is needed for renting anyway.

How it works - Renting via app

To rent a bike, the "Call a Bike App" is required, which can easily be downloaded from the App or Google PlayStore. Each bicycle has a 5-digit number, which can be found below the handlebars and above the pedals. This number has to be entered into the app so that the app generates an opening code that unlocks the bike at the rental station. Simply enter the code directly into the display of the bicycle, press the red button and pull out the lock - that's it.

Take a break: The bike talks to you

A break may be taken at any time. To do so, the bicycle has to be secured at the rear wheel with the appropriate lock. Then the display on the bicycle asks whether a break should be taken. Simply tap on "Yes" here. To continue riding, enter the opening code again, press the red button and keep going.

Return

The bicycle can be returned at one of the 4 stations: Simply press the red button again, push down the bolt and goodbye!
