How about getting work experience in an other country? Would you like to immerse in an other culture? Learn another language?
In short: would you like to make an important intercultural experience? Then: go abroad for an internship!
An internship abroad offers the great opportunity to combine the acquisition of experience abroad with professional work experience.
In general, what applies to internships in Germany also applies to internships abroad. You have to look for them yourself. Internships abroad are recognised according to the same criteria as internships in Germany. You will receive information about the recognition at the internship office of your respective study programme before the internship starts.
The "when can it start" is all a matter of planning. Your plan has to be good and well-founded. It is not uncommon for a year to pass between the idea and the departure.
We are happy to help with the following questions:
At the beginning there is always a decision: What country do you want to visit? Which company? An international corporate or rather a small company?
Online portals, specific links, reports from fellow students: we try to bring light into the darkness.
Your plan is done. But has everything really been taken into account? Before departure, we would like to point out some important further to-dos.
