With 16 faculties, 4,000 academic staff, and almost 40,000 students, the Jagiellonian University is the oldest higher education institution in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe. It was founded on 12 May 1364 by the Polish king Casimir the Great.
Jagiellonian University is located in the historic city of Kraków,
the former capital of Poland and a great cultural centre, visited by
millions of tourists. Some of the University buildings are major
historical sites themselves.
Language(s) of Instruction: Students are expected to have a command of English of at least B1. Students, who would like to attend classes in Polish, should have a command of Polish of at least B2
