About the University

The University of the Balearic Islands, also known as the University of the Balearic Islands, is a state university on the Balearic Islands with its headquarters in the city of Palma. Founded in 1978, the university is divided into six faculties with a total of 14,000 students and 1,000 academic staff. The university is situated in the outskirts of Palma at 7.5 Km. and very well connected by bus and subway from the city center.

About the Location

Palma is a vacation city and the capital of the Spanish island of Mallorca in the western Mediterranean. Located in the bay of the same name, the capital of the island of Mallorca enjoys a privileged climate all year round (average annual temperature 17.9 °C). Known for its sun and beach tourism, it also has a beautiful old town.
