FAQ - all about student processes

For proof of academic achievements in accordance with § 48 Para. 1 BAföG, you will receive a transcript of records from the Examinations Office, which shows the total number of ECTS credits achieved and is signed and stamped by the university. You can submit this ECTS certificate directly to the Heidelberg Student Union. Form 5 does not need to be submitted to the Studierendenwerk, the transcript of records is sufficient. There, the usual achievements are confirmed if at least 75% of the ECTS points have been successfully completed, which are provided for according to the SPO at the respective time. You can enquire with your responsible examination board about the distribution in detail.

You can change your surname in eCampus at https://hhn.hispro.de/.

There you can select the reason “New family name / surname” under “Homepage” -> “My studies” -> “Applications” on “Change of marital status / application for part-time studies” and upload your copy of the marriage certificate/other certificate. Your request will then be processed. This can take up to 2 weeks. There may be delays during the semester break and at the start of the semester, so we ask for your understanding.
