About the University

The Asper School of Business is Manitoba’s premier business school. AACSB accredited, Asper offers high level academic coursework in most business disciplines, including accounting, finance, marketing, human resource management, leadership, supply chain and logistics, actuarial mathematics, and international business. Asper is home to a vibrant undergraduate program ans well as graduate programs, including MBA, Master of Finance, Master of Supply Chain Management, and PhD studies. Students participate in numerous student clubs and national and international case competitions. Asper is also the proud home of The Associates, an active network of business graduate alumni, who provide important networking and professional development opportunities for students.

Student Life

Student Housing: Most students choose to live on campus in the Arthur V. Mauro residence, although other on campus options are available. Students may also choose to live off campus in private housing, or in homestay. Generally, it is recommended that students live on campus where possible, so that they can more easily integrate in Asper’s exchange community. More info at: https://umanitoba.ca/housing 

Student Support: In addition to support from an in-house exchange coordinator, all incoming exchange students will automatically become members of AIMS, the Association of International Management Students. AIMS offers an airport pick up, assigns exchange students with local buddies, and provides many exciting academic and social activities throughout the semester.
