About the University

Mahidol University hosts approximately 32,000 students, more than 600 academic programmes, 17 faculties, 6 colleges, 9 research institutions, and 6 campuses, and is one of the highest ranked universities in Thailand. Mahidol University has continued to grow and diversify into a multi-disciplinary institution it is today. Mahidol University currently encompasses a variety of fields including, science, medicine, engineering, management, social studies, music, religiouse studies, and nutrition.

Mahidol University has always adopted an enviromentally-friendly philopsophy to its development with the vision "A promised place to live and learn in nature". In recognition of its green policies, the universities has been declared the No. 1. in Thailand since 2016 in the Green Metric Ranking of World Universities by the Universitas Indonesia.

About the Location

Bangkok is the capital and largest city in Thailand.  Home to a population of around 10 million, Bangkok is the economic center of Thailand. The university is located to the west of Bankog city center and about 60 km from the university campus.
