Career Service

Jobportal - for employers

As Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, we want to provide our students with the best possible support throughout their studies and prepare them for a successful start to their careers. The Career Service offers an interactive platform for this purpose, the online career portal.

As a company or institution, you have the opportunity to inform our students about your vacancies and career events and to introduce yourself with an employer profile free of charge.

In order to do this, you have to create a company profile. This allows you to: publish job vacancies and create events.

Please note our criteria for posting job vacancies when entering your job advertisements and profile content. After you have posted your job offers, they have to be activated manually by us. Please be patient. Usually, we release job offers daily.

1. No paid placement offers: No advertisements will be published by providers who offer students paid placement opportunities (e.g. for internships abroad).

2. Job offers must include: Employer details, job description, requirements for the position.

3. No active placement for third parties: We do not publish job advertisements for third parties. The jobs offered must relate to the advertising institution itself.

4. No advertising: We would like to point out that our career portal is not an advertising platform. Pure advertising for companies, especially for their services and products, will not be accepted or deleted. The portal serves as a service of the University of Passau to promote contact between employers and students.

5. Declaration: Please ensure that your advertisements are adequately declared - for example, is it really an internship or are the activities more in the area of a part-time job? The portal offers a range of options for job descriptions, from which you should use the most appropriate one if possible. We reserve the right to make changes in exceptional cases.

6. Temporary and part-time jobs: Purely temporary and part-time jobs must be declared as such.

7. We do NOT publish unpaid ‘internship’ offers

FAQs

With an company profile you can

  • Publish job vacancies
  • Mrketing through the company page
  • Create events
  • Access the talent pool

The more complete the profile is, the better.
It is not only possible to insert a company logo, the banner can also be customised.
In addition to the standard text, facts can also be included and emphasised. A second text and the location of the head office should also be completed. If nice pictures/videos of your company exist, these can also be added.
If your company has a website or social media accounts, these can also be linked.

It is not possible to have a Recruiter account and a company profile with the same e-mail address. You must therefore first delete your Recruiter account and then create a company profile (see ‘How to create a company profile’). As a result, you will also loose access to archived vacancies from your Recruiter account.

Log into Jobteaser with your existing account,

  • Click on the first name in the top right-hand corner and
  • select ‘Edit my profile’.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page. Here you will find ‘Delete my Recruiter account’.

If you wish to delete your company profile, you must contact us, as company profiles can only be deleted by us.

Take a look around the help centre of Jobteaser here.

Go to the back office and take a look at your vacancies there.

If you have specified an archiving date, your job offer will automatically be archived on this date.
If you have not specified a date, the job offer will be archived automatically after 30 days.

You will find the ‘Republish’ button in the archived vacancies tab. The republished vacancy is a new vacancy that contains all the information from the old vacancy.

Click on the ‘Archive’ button in your job offer.
