Heilbronn University stands for a modern and open-minded society with fundamental democratic values.
The advancement of female students, academic staff and professors in areas in which women are still under-represented, is not only required by law, but is also an important strategic university goal. Further information about equality objectives, reports and statistics can be found under the heading Tasks and Objectives.
The Gender Equality Officers contribute to the implementation of gender equality and act as an information point for all those who deal with equality issues or want to know more about them.
There are a range of services including counselling for female students, academic staff and professors. Female applicants for academic positions are also welcome to contact the Gender Equality Officer.

Equality and Diversity Unit
The Gender Equality Officers work closely with the Equality and Diversity Unit. The Department for Equality and Diversity is a staff unit of the Prorectorate for International Affairs and Diversity. Many funding programmes and projects relating to gender equality are located here.
