Double degree programmes
One programme, two countries, double the benefit from both degrees.
Double degree programmes, sometimes also referred to as dual degree programmes, offer students the opportunity - within one programme - to obtain degrees from two different universities - a double degree from Heilbronn University and one of our cooperating partner universities. This usually does not prolong the length of your studies, or if it does, only by a short amount.
During my double degree at the University of Louisville, I got to know the USA from a new perspective. In addition to new learning methods and approaches, I was able to experience the local atmosphere, the country and its people first-hand. Last but not least, the MBA degree offers me a wide range of professional opportunities on an international level.

The double degree programmes at Heilbronn University are not separate degree programmes, but they link one degree programme at Heilbronn University with a degree programme at a partner university.

Application procedure
As a double degree programme is an optional part of a degree programme, students who wish to participate in a double degree programme must apply for it during their studies.
Please inform yourself at an early stage at your degree programme about possible requirements for participation in a double degree programme.
The application for a double degree programme is then made via the International Office, like the applications for a regular stay abroad. You can find the application procedure on the website for Application for a semester abroad.
