Double Degree

Double Degrees offered by the Faculty of Informatics

Currently, the Faculty of Informatics offers a Double Degree Program in the Master's of Software Engineering. Students who apply and are accepted into the program can usually expect to participate in a one-semester study abroad experience and complete a thesis that will be supervised and evaluated by professors from both universities. As a result, they will have the opportunity to earn two official academic degrees.

The application process for the Double Degree Program is similar to the regular application process for studying abroad and is managed through the International Office. Master's degree programs

University: Vietnamese-German University (VGU) (Ho-Chi-Minh-City, Vietnam)

Degrees:

  • M.Sc. Business Information Systems (VGU)
  • M.Sc. Software Engineering (HHN)


Conditions: One semester must be completed at VGU (Vietnamese-German University) according to the prescribed study plan.

Language requirements: For Outgoing students the English proof from the SEM program is sufficient.

Duration of the study abroad period:  At least one semester.

HCMS

Other information: 

  • Students can decide at which university they want to complete their studies
  • The Master's thesis should be supervised by advisors from both universities
