An optional third semester increases the total number of ECTS credits to 120. In this case, the Master's thesis is completed in the fourth semester.

In the final semester, students demonstrate that they are familiar with scientific working methods, principles and research methods with their Master's Thesis. Within 6 months, they complete a scientific thesis, which they explain and discuss in a short presentation to reviewers and students after submitting it.
