Heilbronn University has decided to develop technical tools and didactic concepts that promote collaboration and interaction. In particular, the aim is to strengthen and facilitate interdisciplinary, inter-faculty and inter-university collaboration. With InduKo, we are strengthening this interdisciplinary, cross-faculty and cross-location collaboration with innovative digital tools and modern, digitally-supported approaches to promoting motivation, thus creating innovation through collaboration. To this end, we actively work together with students in the development process.

Following the successful completion of InduKo, the following core elements will be available:
field-tested, transferable concepts for teaching with a focus on innovation and collaboration as well as a learner-centred learning journey for the Master's degree programme in Entrepreneurship,
a cross-location open source community platform for the exchange and further development of innovative ideas,
a secure open source messenger for university operations and a distributed ledger technology-supported solution for digital non-disclosure agreements.
All project components are interlinked, but can also be used individually and across universities. The project was categorised as eligible for funding by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education.
To the Sub-Projects
The InduKo Heilbronn research project consists of several sub-projects. You can find more information here.
The interaction between people and machines in our everyday working and living lives is nothing new. Until now, however, it was the human who told the machine what to do and the machine did it. In recent years, however, there has been movement and change in this interaction. The increasing collaboration between humans and machines is leading to a change in the distribution of tasks with the use of artificial intelligence. Machines take over routine tasks, observe and prepare possible courses of action and act with foresight. The aim of human-computer interaction (HCI) is to shape these changes in the interests of people.
From 2 to 4 November 2021, the University:Future Festival took place under the motto "Open for Discussion" - organised by the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD) in partnership with the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre (StIL). In this Elevator Pitch, the InduKo project was presented by Prof Dr Masha Fischer.
