The Faculty of International Business and the Faculty of Business are both located at the Bildungscampus in the centre of Heilbronn. Both faculties offer a variety of courses withing English as the language of tuition, however you are more than welcome to choose courses offered in German as well.
We ask you to choose courses within the faculty you are enrolled in: either the Faculty of International Business or the Faculty of Business. This will enable us to provide better assistance in case of any individual problems. Of course, it is also possible to choose courses from the other faculty, provided that there is enough capacity.
For assistance with the programme you would like to pursue at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, please contact us at the Faculty of Business (leonie.kontusch@hs-heilbronn.de) or the Faculty of International Business (ib-exchange@hs-heilbronn.de)
Please note: The choice of subjects in the master's programmes can be made only within the master programme for which the applicant will be accepted at Heilbronn University. A combination of subjects from different master's programmes is not possible.
The English taught lectures of the Faculty of Engineering as well as of the Faculty of Informatics, all based on Campus Sontheim can be found here:
The Faculty of Engineering and Business at the Campus Künzelsau (Reinhold-Würth-Hochschule) and the Faculty of Management and Sales at the Campus Schwäbisch Hall are 20 km away from each other and can be reached by bus (journey time 50 minutes, every hour).
Bachelor's business students can also select some business subjects from the other Campus. The possibility of following the courses on the other Campus ultimately depends on the final scheduling of the courses. A combination of subjects with the Campuses in Heilbronn is not possible.
Heilbronn university places great importance on promoting the foreign language and regional competency of its students. This also applies to the qualification of exchange students in the field of German as a foreign language. All language courses are based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This CEFR grid aids assessment and self-assessment.
A German grading test is carried out as part of the introductory programme.
