Free study places

The application and allocation procedure for the summer semester 2024 has been completed.

You can apply for a study place for the winter semester 2024/25 from the beginning / mid of May.  

The documents below must be attached to the application. Please also note the explanations on the procedure.

Undergraduaded studies with direct Enrolment

Explanations of the procedure:

The application must be submitted in writing and individually for each desired programme. Please note that a maximum of three applications per bachelor's applicant or a maximum of one application per master's applicant may be submitted. 

The following documents must be attached to the application:

1 a. For undergraduate programmes (BA): copy of the university entrance qualification and, if applicable, other documents regulated in the admission statutes

1 b. For graduate programmes (MA): copies of the bachelor's degree and bachelor's degree certificate, the transcript of records and, if applicable, other documents regulated in the admission statutes.

2. Chronological curriculum vitae

3. A declaration and proof of whether and for which programme you have or has been enrolled at another university (Section 60 (2) No. 4 LHG)

4. A declaration and proof of whether an earlier admission for the applied programme has expired because an examination in the same programme was finally failed or the right to an examination no longer exists (Section 60 (2) No. 2 LHG)

5. For undergraduate programmes (BA): Proof of participation in the study orientation test of the Ministry of Science and Art Baden-Württemberg or proof of a counseling interview at a central, university-owned study advice center (Section 60 (2) No. 6 LHG)

Admission is only possible if the admission criteria for the respective degree program are met. In addition, the regulations of the admission and enrollment statutes of Heilbronn University apply.

Only one application for a lottery application may be submitted per programme or the respective procedure. Anyone who repeatedly applies for the lottery for a degree program for an allocation date will be excluded from participating in the lottery. Also excluded from the procedure is anyone who does not provide the minimum information in accordance with Section 3 (1) of the statute.

Heilbronn University notifies the admitted applicants by means of a notification of admission.

If applications are submitted for other than the above-mentioned programmes, these will be destroyed by the university. There will be no corresponding information or the documents submitted will not be returned to the sender.
